Amarillo ® est une marque de houblon déposée. Il a été introduit récemment, mais a été extrêmement populaire auprès des brasseurs cherchant un type Cascade avec un caractère américain distinctif. Il est considéré par beaucoup comme idéal pour le houblonnage en fermentation, et donne aussi une amertume franche en raison du faible contenu de cohumulone. Il possède une saveur d’agrumes et des notes florales, et un caractère apparenté au  Cascade, mais avec plus d’amertume. L’Amarillo est une marque déposée de Virgile Gamache Farms, Inc, où le houblon a été initialement développé.
